Just wondering what are your thoughts on putting raised white letter tires such as Cooper Cobra's or BF Goodrich T/A Radials on these cars as a replacement tire. Would it look good or goofy ??

Raised White Letter tires

I do not know if "goofy" is an appropriate expression, but I think that RWL tires look great on 70 and 60 series tires, maybe even 65. But when you start getting into the 50's and lower profile tire there is not enough "tire" or black for the RWL to stand out.

wrong era car for white letter tires .. wide whites look good a 50's era car, but wouldn't look to hot on your 70.
