These project cars seem to follow me home. I'm not sure yet what my plans will be for this one. 66 mustang coupe, 347 stroker, 4 speed. Has new floor pans installed, quarters have been reskinned but not finished very well. Good frame rails. Runs like a scalded dog. It was originally ivy green metallic with parchment and ivy gold interior. Ivy green is a really beautiful color so it will go back to that when I paint it. It's a little ruff so I just don't know how far I want to go with it. I might just smooth out the bodywork, paint it and use it as a fun driver.
I know you left coast guys would throw rocks at a car like this but here in the rust belt it's all we have to work with. It was a San Jose car originally, maybe that's why it still has some possibilities. I'm all about the 67/68's so I surprised myself when I wanted to buy this. I still remember my old 65 289 4 speed fastback. That car was a blast to drive.
