So I picked up this fastback for pretty cheap last weekend. My plan is to clean it up, do some minor work and have it gone by mid-July. Keep me to that date, I need this car gone! Its a typical northeast car. Rusty cowl, floors and rear frame rails (maybe only pass side). Its missing most of the front end sheet metal, but I have a line on some decent stuff I can put on it. Its a T code that has has the suspension swapped out to 5 lug. Drums all around and I have not looked at the rear yet but undoubtedly its an open 8". The buck tag decodes as: Body 63A standard interior fastback, Color D Dynasty Green, Trim 26 black, black, Date 24B Feb 24th, DSO 13 New York. 6cyl C4. Nothing all that special but the car is in decent enough shape that it will make a good project for someone (starting with me!). It has been off the road since 1982, same year I was born and somewhere before that the interior was swapped out to a pony interior. I've been working on a list of what I want to do to get the best bang for my buck. I will be fixing the rear frame because I think people get a little scared off when they see a leaf sticking through the trunk. I'll also swap out the 6 for the shortblock 302 that came with the car. Install some sheet metal, replace seat tracks. Give it good cleaning and hopefully thats about it. We will see if I can control myself. And now what you all want; peektures!

Lots of surface rust but surprisingly solid quarter and door given what they look like.

You can't see but it needs rear leafs, but I doubt I'll do that. Didn't someone need dearched springs??

Holey Floor Batman!

Inner and outer rockers are actually not bad

Oooh Pony seats

I folded it up, now I can't seem to fold it down...

Oh yeah it needs a battery apron. Duh!

Good front frames though

Factory writing! Wheres Charles Turner?

Ye Olde I6

There was a critter living under here. Thankfully he was gone when I pulled the seat.

Crap cleaned out, more rust.. doh!

Looking through the trap door into the trunk. Yep, that's going to have to be addressed.

Other side, less bad.
And that's all I got for now. Time to order some metal!
