NEWBIE FROM BELGIUM

B67FSTB

The NorCal dude from Belgium
Hi to you al at the forum. Thanks to cmayna who invited me to this forum.
First let me introduce myself , i am a foreigner from Belgium ( BRUSSELS ) , i am 49 years young , married with a lovely girl for more then 20 years. We have 2 kids ,no dog or cat but we have a couple of mustangs.
I bought my first mustang in 1994 which was a 67 convertible , 6 banger with an automatic and that was it.
I have been collecting parts for more then 15 years to make this car my pride and joy.A 67 mustang convertible with a 289-4V , automatic , 5 lug styled steel wheels with 235/60/15 Good Year Eagle GT II , power disk brake and power top with stayfast fabric top.
I also collected a lot of bodyparts. All i have to do now, is put things together.
But ...............i have started the restoration of my fastback which was a regular 289 with auto and foldown back seat.
I also converted this mustang to a 351W-4V with a T5Z trans , power drilled disk brakes , L.E.D. rear lights. All this stands on a set of TT II 17 X 8 with 245/45/17 Brdgestone Potenzas.
I know you all say i am crazy but hee ..... i love to work on mustangs.
If one of you all invite me to work on your stang , buy me a ticket and i will be there at your place.I will sleep in the garage beside the dog or cat.Isn't that a proposition.

Welcome aboard, since you've already admitted to being crazy (proof of that is knowing Craig) you'll fit right in!

Yes, we need more pictures of this one, Cant see it to well, but I'm diggin the color combo!

Thanks , gonna look for those convertible pics.Must be on my other HHD.Coming soon.

Yes , the fastback was good except the doors.Everything lined up very nice.Didn't see many stangs overhere in Belgium of which the panels lined up very well.
On the other hand , the convertible , i wished i never had bought it because it was in fact a wreck , but hee , it was 1994 and it was my first mustang and it was a 67 and even a convertible !!!! In those days you did't see a 67 mustang very often.

To Fast68back : with steering linkage !!!!!!!!!!!! ( in those days digital image wasn't common )

Bruno,
What the heck took you so long to chime in to the land of strange? Welcome my friend. Let me know when the package arrives.
