2hp Bridgeport, variable speed head, chrome ways in great shape, $350 + $50 for the drop deck trailer to move it. A machine shop that we deal with just wanted it gone...

Nice! 3 phase? Did it come with any tooling? That is what will kill your pocket book.

shaun, i buy almost all of my mill bits etc. from ENCO. if you sign up on the email list, they usually send 15%-20% off deals & free shipping codes monthly. lots cheaper than buying locally.

I spent many hours in front of one of those back in the 80's working at my Uncle's machine shop while I was going to school. I think he was paying me 10 bucks an hour under the table back then. I would like to have one also, but more than the mill, the room to put it somewhere. :hs

That is a score! I find them from time to time around here, not that kinda deal but they do exist....but moving the big ones does not sound like fun. I would like to find a nice smaller knee mill tho.

You guys know where I can get splines cut on a custom shaft??????? Shaft will be about 7" and fit a bearing in the middle with male splines on both ends. Also it will need to be hardened.
