new to stangfix and also new to restoring a classic mustang

hello i have a 67 mutang coupe and advice to a beginner in restoration?

i voted for the second option.
If you know what you are doing, you wont need our help and we wont have anything to do, or even worse - you will pick the wrong steering wheel.
 
I also voted for you do not know what you are doing because you do in fact need our help. For starters learn how to spell Mustang. It is spelled M-U-S-T-A-N-G, not MUTANG :beat :lol You picked a good year to restore.

I voted for "am i doing this right" due to the fact that you just made the best decision of your entire Mustang restoration. Signing up here!

I, much like yourself had no idea what I was doing until I signed up here. Ask Pete, even if it aint broke, we will tell you how to fix it. These guys here are full of great knowledge and the best advice I can ever give to anyone is to keep a open mind and listen to them. I have only been working on Fred for a year and a month now and I am only where I am because of all these guys and just recently gals as well.

Always remember, this is a hobby, its for fun, and if your not having fun, step back drink a beer and jump on the fix for a quick laugh or two. I guess you can ask for some help as well. LoL

I think only you can answer your questions. I think it's just a matter of being tenacious, perseverant, how far you're wanting to go with your "restoration", also how much time per week/month/year/years you're willing to put in and most importantly~ MONEY! lol At least you look like you have a complete mustang to start with. All I can say, if I can do it, so can you!

You'll enjoy this forum and learn a lot from the guys (and gals!) around here. I don't know anything about restoring mustangs either and everyone here has been very helpful! :vic

definition: Mutang...derived from the latin words mutant and mustang. A car that is no longer original or has lots of aftermarket parts. Also, see restomod.
