Just before American Graffiti I thought I would check my left taillight which was working then not working. Took it apart and my LED panel was loose in the housing. Plugged a old style bulb in and went to Modesto. Upon return I checked the LED light and found it wasn't functioning although power was getting to the panel. I contacted Mustang Project, the original designers of these LED of which JohnPro was a beta tester, and was told to send it back. I did and they repaired my panel. Got the same one back and charged $12.
From my recollection of the plug which goes into the car's receptor, the one I sent back, the internal of the plug seemed to be deteriorated, like dried up wax. The new one has a plastic cover. Installed and all working again. Mustang Project now has a complete line of lights for interior (instrument panel and such) and exterior for not only Mustangs but many a classic car.
Oh I bought the lights in 2010 so they stand behind their work.
