New hood question?

Purchased new hood for my 67 last year from NPD. I purchased the import hood to save money (yes I know what you all are going to say and you are correct). Anyway today i sanded the hood for primer and it look great with one exception, I noticed that the nuts that should be welded into the inside of the hood for the hinge bolts are not there??? How do i get nuts in there to attach it to the hinges after paint? Has anyone here ever used one of these hoods? If so how did you deal with this.

I thought that's how they were all made, using the u-nuts that is.

Looked at hood, you guys are correct. Took hood off over a year ago and forgot how it was attached! :stu I am stupid!! LOL.
