Pictures tomorrow, just drug it home yesterday. 1993 GT hatchback, 5.0 roller with trick flow twisted wedge heads and a tremec tko...paint very rough as well as interior...been sitting for a few years. Bought from a widow, it was her late husbands project... gonna make a daily driver out of it...

A guy at work did a father/son project with his teen son with a 1993 ( I think) hatchback with a 5.0. Took their time and made a nice Deep Black/ Grey int. Takes it to a few shows and brings it to work once in a while. Nice ride but was very rough when they started.

Only difference between a GT and a LX is body panels. Everything else is the same. The Fox platform cars are going up in value. I am always keeping my eye open for another one to add to my fleet.

Ok.....and back in the day the LX came with cheaper insurance rates!
+1 I don't think this falls into the 4-eye category. Just called a later FOX body around these parts. Nice car project is whats important!

It’s all good. You are starting with a great base to work from. Fox Mustangs have nearly as much support from the aftermarket as classics do. Check Late Model Restoration and American Muscle to start. LMR has lots of great how to videos.

If I recall correctly up to 86 is referred to as 4-eyed and up to 93 as Aero cars. 94-98 as SN95, 99-04 as new edge.

most of the guys around here call the 87's and up Areo foxes.
I have a 93 GT with a Art Carr C4, reverse pattern full manual VB with trans brake and 4,000 stall converter. It has 4.56 or 5.13 gears (Can't recall), welded in subframe connectors Strange C-Clip eliminators and axles, Drag shocks and a bunch of other mods. It's also got a Cobra intake, 75mm TB, roller rockers... I don't know what cam but probably an "E" cam. It's an old "Street racer" I bought with some of the money I got from selling the 65. I bought it because my wife doesn't want me racing the 67 so I finally have an unofficial Stangfix Drag car! Although I have yet to make a pass with it as I am spending all my home time working on the 67 (which isn't much time). But anyway, Welcome. I love the Fox body Stangs and if I find a good 85 or 86 parts car I will convert mine to a four eyed Fox. Last pic is when I brought it home, it had a crappy fiberglass hood. I put a stock hood from pick-apart on it and LX tail lights. I also picked up some Cobra spares for the front wheels (I will replace the tires with front runners).
