I'm going to get off my butt and build a website for my metal family under craigsrides.com. What is a cheap and dummy proof program to build a simple website which I can post pics, etc? The home page will show all 4 cars and when you click on one of them, it should take to another page with more details and pics about that rig.

You keeping all that crap???? :beat

I thought you said you sold it all to some yahooo in Sacramento. :scar

I use MS Publisher. I don't know how much it is as it came in my suite.

I like it. I use Core FTP to send pics over to my host. My host charges me $100 a year for my business site. You can use Jalbum for picture albums. It is free and does a nice job. It will allow you to make four albums and put them on a basic page and then you can click to each car from there, but all you can do is put in comments for each pic. Not much of a page software.

I hope this helps.

I have also been known to build pages for people and maintain them. For a fee though. Now that I am retired and do it when I am sitting around in a hotel, I am kinda inexpensive. If it is some simple cut and paste text that you send me in a word doc, I can do a quick page that links to albums from Jalbum for free.

Yep, forgot about doing it by hand...

You are right, cheap as it gets!

PS. MS Word will do it to. I knew someone once that used the MS Word tools for easy desk top publishing. MH
