Well, I couldn't let all the experienced guys come to StangFix and not tag along! I'm still on... that other site... too but I'll have to divide my time I guess.
Short version about me is I wanted a vintage Mustang about as long as I knew what a car was. I stared at every one I saw in the 70s, 80s, 90s... hell I still do. When I was 16 in 1992 I bought my first car - a 1966 Tahoe Turquoise 289 auto hardtop with standard Aqua interior and hubcaps. I've been upgrading using factory Ford parts and options since then. I've owned a few others along the way. My sons grew up riding in mine, love it, and wanted a Mustang of their own so I've restored an Emberglo / Deluxe Emberglo and Parchment and a Nightmist / Deluxe Blue and White V8 auto AC PS DB 66 hardtops for my sons. I recently acquired a survivor 68 hardtop that I'll eventually restore for my wife I hope. In the meantime, I'm retired from law enforcement after 27+ years but working here and there on vintage cars, mostly Mustangs, for local owners and collectors.
I hear good things about StangFix, and I look forward to being a part of the community.

I dunno about the couch - college was a while ago! Maybe it's time to scrub out some of the mystery stains or just glove-up, check it for money and whatever else may be under the cushions, put it by the curb and get a new one!

Well, I grew up with Chevys and International Scouts at home, so I learned about those, too. I've always had the heart of a Mustang, though.

Something to do with keeping it dry but the funny thing is when you open a wet hood from rain or an overheat on a bunch of them, water splatters right on it. The IH engines were built like Fords with a Chevy numbering for the cylinders and firing order, Autolite starting and ignition, Delco alternators, Chrysler style cooling and emission systems - if they didn't rust so bad they're damn near indestructible.

True. It's his fault, but I've been busy rounding up folks. If everyone lets a handful of people know about .com (see what I did there?...otherwise they censor it), then we can get busy over here.
