My pony broke...

...out of its stable today, so I saddled up and took my first ride since the end of November.
Since it doesn't happen without pictures, see below:

Cheer up, snowbounders, spring is coming!

the only time I got to drive in Germany was in a 2.0L diesel wagon! I'd love to drive a classic Stang over there, thanks for sharing!

It's really a head-turner in the villages and on normal highways, with a speed limit of 100 kph (about 60 mph), but I feel like a rolling barrier on the autobahn. Of course, I have a self imposed rev limit of about 3000 RPM, which is good for about 120 kph (about 75 mph). Driving faster is just plain scary, with my brakes and the steering. I also worry about idiots coming up behind me driving 220 kph and talking on their cell phones.

yeah, without some mods to the suspension, brakes and steering, the classics are much more fun cruising around town! But it would be fun at least once on the autobahn!

Before the fastback's transformatiion , it got the thumbs up on the highway frequently.
After : i will see hopefully this summer.
Like David said : 120 Kph is top speed when you have no mods on the car.
