My Inner 16 year old is smiling

I noticed that a few times at shows and gatherings. The doors on my '68 shut amazingly well (thanks Sluggo), I just barely push them and they close with that early car Ca chunk, I like to watch peoples facial expressions when they hear it. Its usually followed with a knowing head nod, they know its a classic cars door being closed. Priceless.

No sweat bro. Actually you should thank my OCD. Seems to center around doors and properly aligned screw heads. :craz

Great read Steve!

Great story Steve. It made me think of my Dad. After he died in 2005, I was going through his things for my mom. One of the things I found was a promissory note that he had cosigned for me in 1966 to buy a new burgundy Mustang coupe. At the time he had a year old 65 Wimbledon White Mustang coupe. I guess its genetic.

Sometimes the simple things to fix take the longest time to begin. And sometimes these simple things have to be done over and over again...right, Pete?

Door windows and the rear windows are a pain to align, but the best source for info is the Ford Shop Manual.

And of course, it's easier if you have a fastbasketcase, because you don't have to worry about aligning the rear windows.

Windows....huh....what windows......oh..those things, like the one I still need to fine tune in the drivers door.......damn things anyway.

Windows are highly over-rated....according to the MAC people!
