So I decided to go to a show/charity track day with my car in aid of an Autism Charity. Many of the car owners took their cars on the track then the public could pay €20 for 2 laps of the track. My car was on display only(apart from a few start up obviously) as its a little too soon to bring it on a track and i doubt I will ever want to take it onto the track anyways.
This was also the longest trip in my car to date(about 120miles round trip)...The only issue was a rear brake light which i lost half way down. The other one was working fine so no stress. I did the man maths yesterday and i reckon i got about 11mpg overall which is slightly less than expected but hey its a 428 :thumb
All in all it was a great day day and we raised nearly $40k for charity. I am not that fond of the typically car shows here in ireland(park car in field and answer 5,000 questions all day :rr) but on this one you got to see the cars been driven fast and even get a chance to ride in them.

As you can see the car and Jenny were popular.
She even made it to a National Paper.
So we queued up for a passenger lap and its a lucky dip so you get whatever car comes into the pits. My brother was in front of me and he got the Viper. This Lotus Elise pulled up in front of me...I was a little disappointed but then the driver told me that it is the fastest car on the track and holds the record for the fastest lap time. 750kg with 270 bhp. We were going past Ferraris on bends like they were at a stand still.
And the star of the show....Aventador LP-700. The owner is a a young guy that set up an internet car finance company a few years ago...
