My boys opening football game

My boy had his first football game tonight. He's playing right guard on offense and defensive end on defense. He picked up 3 sacks tonight and the third resulted in a fumble which his teammate recovered and ran for a touchdown. I was yelling and screaming... boy was I proud of him.

Defensive end, IMO one of the best positions to play. That and linebacker. Played DE for a few years. Loved it. Congrats to him.

His name is Jordan. I hope he's better looking than me bj

Thanks guys. This is second year on the 3rd and 4th grade team. He played last year on as a 2nd grader and saw minimal play time. This year he's a starter on offense and defense and never left the field until the final minute or so left in the game.

My son started 7th grade this year and the coach talked him into trying football. He's never played. Ever. Today was third day of practice but so far so good. He got the game schedule today and I can't wait for his first game.

Good luck, I thinks its good to keep them busy. Right when the football season ends basketball begins and I will have two different practices and games, as the boy will play and my little girl will cheerlead this year.
