Because I am on a budget and want the best , I decided to try and make my own roller perches ( sorry john ) .
see picture how far I am in the progress.

Lookin' great so far!

I do not trust my welding skills enough to have my life depending on it, so I'll just let John make mine and purchase good welds.

John promotes the DIY guys so no need to be sorry but I'm with johnpro... I can weld sheet metal but I won't do suspension or frame welds.

I with the rest, I got mine from John...I can weld, but it looks like a turkey flew over my project and deposits a large load. I've gotten quite good at grinding down welds!!

bearing housing od: 46mm id: 40 wide: 20mm shaft opening :30mm
bearing is 6203-2RS 40x17x12
Orig shaft milled down to except the bearing( 17mm).

I have another approch with another seize of bearing.

bearing housing od: 37mm id: 20mm wide: 20mm shaft opening : 30mm
bearing is 6904-2RS
Orig shaft milled down to except the bearing( 20mm).

I was a bit too fast when buying the 6203 bearings so I make 1 set with these bearings and later on I make a set with the 6904 bearings.

ps : I am not an expert in this and try this out at my own risk !!!!
IMO , if the shaft breaks , the perch will still rest ontop of the UCA.

Anyway : any remarks are welcome.

i built my own too. i hope they actually work (i'm sorry but i'm skeptical) because it was a lot of effort....

i got the kit from Daze.

Well its quite some time ( times fly by !! ) but I finally found the time to weld the roller spring perches.
As you can see , I am not an expert in welding but I think its strong enough.

Meanwhile both are painted in black.
