Mustang Clubs

Anyone know of any mustang clubs or Stangfix members in MD? Just looking for someone close that does this stuff too, maybe we can teach/help each other.

How close are you to Rising Sun? Nick and his Annual Mini Feed event may be a good way for you to hook up with some of the locals and not so locals. Nick is a gracious host and everyone who has attended in the past seems to have a really good time eating, drinking, and shredding tires.......... Even though the Mini Feed is not a club in the conventional sense, the event does have staying power. If I wasn't on the left coast, I'd be there!! Here's Nick's post in the events section: http://www.stangfix.com/testforum2/inde ... 470.0.html

I'm in MD but unfortunately my mustang is in a shop in W. VA. I had to farm out the all the frame/rust repairs to someone more competent than me. Eventually my car will be with me here in Mt. Airy but I don't have an ETA yet, several more months prolly.

About 20 miles S. of DC in Southern MD. Been to Nick's he puts on a really nice BBQ, you should try and make it. What part of MD are you in? There is the National Capital Mustang club which is part of the MCA. They are putting on a show Labor Day weekend at the Bluecrabs stadium in Waldorf. There is also a Southern Maryland Mustang club, tends to be mostly newer stangs though.

Not close. It's about an hour and a half. But it might make for a good day to take the bikes out with my dad.

90 minutes is CLOSE!!!!!!!!!!!! I drive that far for a poker night with the locals. Then again, you could alsways host something at your house and see who shows up......................................

if I only had to drive an hour and a half I'd be at Mini Feed for sure! I love this country but it's HUGE and we are all spread out so much. I have slowly been meeting some of you guys one way or another. We need to do a StangFix Power Tour I guess!!!

your car looks great in the pic ! hoping mine comes out half as nice. I'm hoping by next spring to be able to hit a cruise night at jimmy cone, but we'll see. everything is taking twice as long and costing twice as much as planned... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. plus I got a bad case of the 'while I am in there's'... now while the engine is out and I'm doing the rest of the suspension I am thinking i should go ahead and do the R&P I was going to do later... but I gotta come up with the $ to do it and my budget is already really thin right now. I might have to do the R&P and defer the paint for a couple months.
