Mustang Project is being supportive but its one thing after another.... :ecit

Bought a set of LED taillights from MP online.
I thought I ordered the Non-sequential version. More than a week after the order I receive it in the mail. What's this big black wired thing? And these more detailed instructions for a sequential for? dooooh :amaz I had two orders in the online shopping cart and I ordered the wrong one.
Call MP. No problem send it back and they will send a non-sequential flasher unit. Done.
Two days later I get a new flasher. Cool. Wait for weekend to install. In that time I guess they got the returned unit and..sent me another. I call that Friday to let them know I had two. Send one back that very day.
Go to install the LEDs. Left side doesn't work. But will work if I reverse the install in the socket 180 ddegrees. Call MP and send it back. The third mailing.
Got a e-mail this morning from MP and called them. They will send a new left side unit. Ahhhh its one thing at a time. :sur

I have to agree with ya on this one. MP is great to deal with on the phone, but I think that they get a little confused. I got mine for x-mas, and when the wife ordered the non-sequential tail lights and the front blinkers, they charged her card twice. When I got the led's installed, they sent me a set of the sequential tail lights, and I don't know what they sent for the front blinkers, but they weren't the parklights.

But their custom service is great. I mailed the parts back, which they paid for the shipping, and they sent out all the correct parts. Be patient....you'll get everything correct. I love the LED taillights. There is night and day difference between the two. I posted a short video in the electrical board showing the difference.

Certaily agree about the brightness. I jst had them laying in the trunk to test amd wa almost blinded. :ep :lol

I have to send out more props for Mustang Project, too.

About three years ago, I bought an LED taillight kit from NPD (that they no longer sell). Once I got an electronic flasher (parts house), they worked fine.

Fast forward three years...

I bought a set of front park/turn LEDs from MP. They wouldn't work properly. Blink wrong, dim sometimes, just wrong in almost every way. I contacted them. They had me check some voltages, double check my grounds, etc. All OK. I told them I had LED taillights. They had me return the P/T lights for a new & improved set - even brighter and with some extra diodes that should fix the problem.

Nope. Same problems.

When I swapped regular bulbs for the LED's out back, the fronts started working! They told me that the rear LED panels were causing the problem. They asked me to send my panels in for testing and possible modification.

I did. They verified the problem, installed some diodes, and returned them. They also sent me yet another set of front P/T bulbs that were even brighter than the second set they sent me.

So, they tested and fixed a set of LED panels they didn't even make or sell and sent me a second set of P/T LED's all free of charge!

My system works perfectly, now. It's all LED and it rocks. And I owe it all to Mustang Project.

P.S. I had to get different flashers, too. I found some that look like regular flashers, but they have an extra pigtail for ground. Only these flashers will work in an all-LED (even my instrument cluster is LED) system. I tried about three different flashers, all allegedly for LED systems, but only the ones with the pigtails really work.
