OMG, that once happened to me in the early 1980's!!!

I volunteered to put headers on a 455 Pontiac (thinking it was going to go slick like the other 455 Pontiac did.) I spent an hour in that Louisianna evening summer heat trying to start one of the darn header bolts into the head. The mosquitos were out then, and they were getting the best of me as I was also drowning in my sweat. I got fed up, turned around and said "F' THIS and waled the 7/16" wrench way over the house behind mine. I didn't hear it hit anything, so I went into the house for the night.

Funny, but not funny, the next morning I installed the offending bolt in less than 5 minutes and then finished up the job. The flying wrench still remains MIA.
