Hi Lee,Welcome Peter. Has it been hot enough for you?
I got my car painted last year and finally getting around to putting it back together.Hi Lee,
Yes, it has been plenty hot outside, but the garage is a cool 75. Too bad the wife won't let me paint in the garage.![]()

It was tough to find someone who would :Yea, I saw that. It looks really great. I'm trying to do all the little stuff like making sure everything fits correctly, so when it is painted, and I still do not know by who as of yet, I won't scratch anything. I'm doing the body work, but I know many shops won't paint a car because they haven't done the body work.
I went from this:

The body shops want to strip it again and start over, and I said hell no as I have it perfect. I still want to paint it myself, but I need to find a paint booth and a painter that will assist me.
Put that sucker in a big mini-storage unit one weekend! That is exactly what I'm finding.
I have an Apollo 6-stage paint sprayer that gets 80% of the paint on a panel with almost no overspray, and I even have a 21 foot portable paint booth.
What I can't find is a place to let me put it up and I can't find a paint shop that will just let me rent their paint booth when it's not in use.
