Yes, you would have 1 regulator with 2 -8 outputs. With 2 DP carbs though, you have 4 inlets (2 per carb.) Each -8 off the regulator would have to be split to 2 -6 lines that would run into each carb. You could also buy another brand regulator with 4 outputs so you wouldn't have to branch off. Thanks Guys I won't need a 4 port regulator but only a two outlet -6AN & a halfinch inlet. The plumbing on my carbs are fit for a 06an 3/8 AN fitting.. I will have pictures'

The first pictures are of one of my 600s dp with the side saddle carb plumbing. They are dirty but you can see where the female 3/8s AN would screw right on to te 3/8 flare t..

Last one is of the correct regulator. it is adjustable from 5-12 lbs & 1/8th NPT guage port & 06 inlet & 06 outlets.

Higher output engines sometimes require more fuel than a mechanical pump can put out.

It would have to be a 1000 cubic inch high revving 2000hp monster :)

Ford raced 427 FE's in the 60's with mechanical pumps supplying gas to 8k with a mechanical pump.

Cars switched to electric fuel pumps because fuel injection requires higher pressure. Using an electric pump on a carb requires it be regulated down to about 6 lbs
