I didn't get there until after 2p. Sorry I missed you guys. There were definitely some good looking legit cars there!

Is it just me, or does this rear seem as if its gonna be REALLY close to the ground?

I assume its a track car, cuz I cant Imagine the back seat being very comfortable.

Yes, I believe it is going to be a track car. Red uses Maier's sub frame connectors and Shag will also.

And heavy. Look at all that hardware, a lot of it is above the belt line of the car. I bet they added 30lbs to the rear end with those brackets and torque arm. Sometimes I look at stuff like that and ask why? No disc meant to Mike or any other fabricator that does this kind of work. Guess I'm just a old vintage loving fart.

John:

Don't forget that the old leaf springs are gone with that setup so there should be some weight savings.....

Are we missing something in the pic (or they're not done building the rear out yet)? The only spring I see at all, is horizontal. That would be an incredibly uncomfortable ride, even on a track, not to mention it won't take long to start breaking things. Maier knows a lot more than I do, so I'm guessing I'm missing something in that pic.

I have a hunch that it's in progress. Know MM, he wouldn't do some something that wasn't over the top!

Here's Mustang that was on the street with it.
