I've always had a love / hate kind of thing for these Mustangs.

They are kind of ugly but my oldest sister's first car was pretty much exactly like the one for sale...her's was even piss yellow like this one.

Not that I am going to run out and buy it by any means but brings back some good memories.

Styling wasn't too bad if they could have gotten rid of those huge bumpers.
Of course the choked engines of the day were infamous.

im pretty sure thats the ugliest mustang by far.. everytime i see one i just cant believe they made that hideous thing! :barf

My hunch is that whoever buys it eventually will probably buy it to chop the front into their older hot rod. Guess that's why you don't see too many of these cars around any more.

I never liked those cars, but I admit that I check them out at shows. I see them as an affordable novelty/curiosity. Parts must be hard to find and the build quality is probably crappy.

I really dig the Cobra fastbacks and the Pinto sedan deliveries. IIRC, they sold a ton of them and were successful models. I'd never own one.

One thing about them...I bet those cars are light.

I was just thinking....Maybe we should all chip in and buy it for Mark.

Stick the largest engine in there that will fit and he might be able to catch a Cruiser :nk
