Local Coffee and Cars show pictures

Yesterday, 20-Oct-2010, was the Coffee and Cars event in Plano TX. It is at the BMW dealership. Last month there were over 1000 cars and 3000 people. I think there were at least that many this month. The weather was great (mid 70s) and there were a lot of nice vehicles. There were bugs to Lambos. The local PD was out to ensure there were not any burnout as people left.

My wife came with me and we meet Kevin (aka KO67). He has a nice convertible. Kevin is on the right (my left).

It did the same for me. Funny that it still makes Julie look skinny.

If you look closely kat you can see that there were four of those vintage vettes right together, not counting probably 5 first generation vettes and more Kate model vetoes than you could count. I counted 12 ferraris and 8 , five bentleys, two wood framed margins, a couple of rollses, in addition to all of the American Japanese and German steel. This show is astounding.
 
I hope it goes year around. The web site just says monthly. The first Saturday next month is the first weekend of deer season so I will not be there.

I met the guys who drove this Fairlane on the Power Tour. They said they were from Texas. Here is a picture of them in DuQuoin IL. It was two brothers and their dad.

Frigging iPad revises my typing and substitutes words for what I type. Kate model vetoes was late model vettes. Morgans got messed up too. I turn that feature off. Shield be Finn noo.
