Coolant filters!

I thought you were kidding about coolant filters! kind of like "muffler bearings!" I knew there were never Muffler bearings, but coolant filters! Darn! I hate the idea of cutting my new radiator hose to install something like this. Does anyone here run these? I just got my new Griffin radiator yesterday and I'd hate to see something screw it up right off.
Sorry to hear about your radiator Rusty! Don't get too hasty at this point, take a deep breath, let it out, think think! (finkle and einhorn!)lol Buy the radiator that you really want~ it'll be worth the wait!

Yes, get a Gano or Tefba filter before installing that new rad, you won't believe the crap that it will catch from entering and then clogging up that new radiator!

To be honest, I wrote an answer to this already and I have no idea where it went! lol But Yes Rick! I recieved the Griffin yesterday and I was going to post a photo but my camera batteries are dead! I have to say(again) it is a BEAUTIFUL radiator! and the twin electric fans are awesome too! Gosh Rusty, you should really look into this setup! kind of pricey, but you've already spent a fair sum of dollars, what's another few hundred bucks! ouch!
