Yeh....it's the correct pic, JMLAY. Seems like you did it better than me. Will try and do some others a little better, like starting earlier than 4am!! Thanks for all your support and compliments. They help a lot. Was signal flare red, but decided to go to original ivy. Didn't know how it would come out, but knew it wouldn't be as "exciting" as the red. Getting conservative in my old age.....wasn't worried a few decades ago when I bought a new 70 mach in grabber yellow. Can't wait till the weather clears a little here so I can test the engine and find some reasons to redo that at the end of summer.

Cool, nice to see a photo of a non-fastback. :thu
+1 always nice to have another vert on here.

Car looks great! I think we need more pics. Did they document the restoration work?

Very beautiful car. Last year a friend of mine sold his ivy green 66GT, all original except one repaint. Was a steal at $16,500, wish I had the space to put it or I would have bought it.

A couple more, hopefully:

I guess I was 1 for 2, batting 50%. Will try one more. Thans for your patience with a compu-dufus

I wanted you guys to know that the joy of getting this car back was literally doubled by the great compliments from one of the toughest, most knowlegdeable crowds out there. Many of my decisions were taken from discussions, debates, and yeah, arguments that I've seen on this forum for awile as a lurker. It looks like I listened well. I don't want to get all mushy, but the info, opinions, and experiences you guys put out here had a profound influence on what went into this car and how it looks and handles. The credit I get is for being attentive to a group who knows what they're talking about...and I thank all of you for your direct AND indirect contributions and ideas to this forum that could help shape the result of this pony. Did 2 others before this...the 3rd time was the charm. Here's the engine bay....hopefully:

Just Beautiful!
I don't see a vacuum line hooked to your distributor > carb? Have you run it yet?

Beautiful car! Thanks for going back to the original color. My '65 coupe was originally Ivy Green and I can't wait until I can repaint it accordingly.
