Interesting license plate idea

Around here that would get you a ticket for having a "fake" plate
I don't get the what the license plate stands for...

It's just a plain sequential "legacy plate", the retro black base.
Ala the old British numbers that they would paint on the car.
And it is not legal anywhere I'd guess.

And now...for the rest...of the story:
You must have an area on your bumper 6X12 inches for the wrap, which is why they have a lot of pictures of Teslas in their gallery. It was a pilot program in California, and is now legal for all:
