Where can I find a 1/2" to 3/8"

It's probably pipe threads: why not try HD or Lowes? No fuel will be going through it and you only need an airtight connector.

I have been known to stretch a smaller line over a slightly larger connection in that exact situation.....

Yep, just need something that will hold up to a bit of vacuum. Take both items to the store and do a trial fit. Also want something that is fairly flexible. I found mine for my '66 at an auto parts but do not remember which hose it was. A bit of lube helps the fit too....... At the worst, you might have a bit of oil and combustion gases passing thru. Never had a hose break down on any vehicles.
Went to Lowes this morning. Found a 1/2" to 3/8"inline reducer and bought both size clear tubing. Got it all put together and now the freshly flat balck paint is drying in this glorious Flarda sunshine. Thank's Pete....... and for Craig's input :jerk
Well that went over like a fart in church.... the lines immediately collapsed do to the thinness of the rubber (Duh) , so I went back to the original 3/8" hose and cut the new 1/2" hose just long enough to slip over the inlet tube and so far so good.
Vacuum sucks, doesn't it?
