I'm in love.....with a drone

Flew one of these yesterday at the park. My little r/c heli is fun but this drone was shockingly fun. He took that thing up to about 800 ft, lost connection with the drone and it slowly floated down to the last GPS coordinate until he regained connection to fly again....Just a blast to watch, fly and look at the video it took.
The one on the main page is what I flew and it's about $1200 he said. I'll wait for the price to come down and stick with my heli for now...

I wonder if that's what I've been seeing locally for a while. I see them at night, they go pretty high and the lights change color. Kinda UFO like.

Could be, Frank. The lights change color from green to red as the battery wears down. They flash too as a warning of power drain.

Or you are seeing things.....:-D

We have a drone that we use for work. It has a gopro mounted for photography. It is a hell of a good time to fly.

Each 2 hour charge gives about 20-30 minutes of flight time I was told.
