I'm impressed with the Humphugger console

I recently bought a Humphugger console from CJ Pony Parts, via eBay. I'm impressed with the quality of this console. The one I looked at a few years ago seemed cheaply made, from thin plastic. I wonder if it was a different brand. This one is very nicely built.

The cupholders are sized just right for a can, with about 1/8" clearance. The 16.9 ounce bottles have a little more wiggle room, and they do wiggle, because the bottom of the cupholder isn't flat. I'll have to get a thin cozy or something to take up the extra clearance.

I love the clear plastic strap on the underside of the lid, for holding papers, registration, etc.

One more picture of the rear.

In the near future I want to buy the one that fits around the shifter looks pretty cool..
Does it fit snug on the tunnel ? So it doesn't move?

I bought the one in the pic. and it is secured to the carpet with velcro. You just take it out of the box and push it down into place and it is held into place very well. I'm happy with mine.

Red uses one from TMI that fits over the console. Black with Silver trim. Nice arm rest and great beer bottle holder.

I go sit in the garage in my car and drink beer too. Not sure if you can get away with that at work though with shag.

I have the bigger one too. It was real nice to have on the 3,000+ mile Power Tour.

What happen to your Stereo, you didn't have to give it back after the Power Tour did you?

The wife has one in her '65. Great quality console. I just wish that the cup holders were a little bigger.

That's what kept me from getting one til now. Now that Pepsi seems to have discontinued the 24oz bottle in favor of the 16.9oz (for the same price :rp), the new bottles fit where the old ones didn't.

The PO moved the shifter back several inches. Still think something like that would fit? If not, I'll probably find some console from another make/model that could fit around the shifter.

You can move that shifter very easily. It looks like it is just a basic B&M cable type unit. Probably can't get it all the way up to the stock location due to dash clearance issues but it could move forward. That or pick up an original unit. They're pretty easy to find. Hell, I've got one sitting around if you want it.
