It was mentioned Friday that I hadn't posted about any problems with Gertrude lately...

well......... Had a problem this morning! LOL

It took about 30 minutes this morning to get it started. Not the typical 'old car needs a little time to wake up' kind of not starting. I put the key in and tried to start it, but it did not want to turn over. She eventually decided to start and got to the show ok. I did notice that I left my battery on. Last week, Wed.. I forgot to turn the kill switch off when I got home and I also noticed the amp gauge was jiggling around at first then settled in the middle after a few minutes. Maybe slight battery drain? Starter going out? :shrug

Luckily I did get it started and got to the car show and had no problems getting it started at the end of the day. We'll see how tomorrow goes. Oh yeah, and I also noticed my temp gauge is not working.

It was good. Hot as hell, but still fun. Didn't have any issues starting Gertrude this morning. Go figure. :shrug
Met a guy who owned a yellow 71 fastback. Think he said he was from Houston. We talked for a good hour today.... discussing rear ends. :roll
