I think this car is the real deal

If you've ever perused a site called Bring a Trailer (BaT), you'll know that they feature some of the coolest vintage cars around.

Recently, this car showed up there:
"No Reserve: 1966 Ford Mustang GT Coupe".
http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1966-ford-mustang-3/

It purports to be a one-owner low-mileage 66 GT with no rust by virtue of its California -- black--plate status. It also is supposedly very low mileage (43k). I think it is just as solid as they suggest it is. It is definitely unmolested for a 50-year-old car.

Anybody else see it? And if you did, am I missing something or is this an exceptional old car?

I can see the California emissions can on the pass side of the engine. Front K-H disc brakes, p/s, a/c, short console, $8800. If it runds and drives Id be interested. Looks pretty solid. Just needs some love.

Glenn...how ya doin?
Doing OK, Mike....A dirt bike crash screwed up my back and have been dealing with that, but overall, doing well. Dawn is now retired, too -- so we are enjoying one another's company. Mustang is ready for some over-winter maintenance and the Cyclone needs to be finished. We plan on being down in OC next spring and am looking forward to seeing everyone.
