But that doesn't make it any easier. We had to put down our Jack Russel Misty tonight. Very, very difficult to say the least. She was a month shy of 15 and had to have surgery to remove some cancerous growths on her abdomen. She survived the surgery which was about a month ago, but continued to decline in health. This morning, for some reason, she had no use of her back legs. Very hard to see her try to move about with only her front paws after seeing her run around so effortlessly for years. Rest in Peace Misty, I'll see you on the other side at the Rainbow Bridge.

Ron, I can't tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Remember all of the good times with Misty and know that we're here for you.

I know how you feel, even when you know it is coming it doesn't get any easier, things pop up every once in a while that makes me think of Max and I get tearry eyed, I feel for you.

I'm so sorry, I know what you are going through. We lost both of ours with in a couple of weeks. I was heartbroken when I saw my Barney Boy pulling himself without the use his back legs, but I have a lifetime of memories of Barney and Penny. Misty will always be in your memories and heart. God Bless.

I feel for you. It's like losing a family member. Hell, my dogs are better than some of my family.

Hang in there.

Sorry to hear it.
We put down our dog about 1 1/2 years ago and it was definitely the hardest thing I have ever experienced in my life.
Hang in there. The pain will fade...but the memory of her in better times will last.

Ron I am very sorry for your loss. Our pets are more than members of our family.

Sorry to hear the sad news Ron. I don't think there is anything worse than seeing a family member suffer. I feel for you and your family.

Sorry to hear Ron. My Jack Russel is just over 10 now and I cant imagine having to go through that. Hang in there!

Its a pain most of us have gone through...and more than once. 15 years is a long time, and good times I know.

Thanks guys for all your heart felt thoughts. Today is a little better. Not much, but a little. She was a joy!

Ron,
So sorry to hear about Misty. She was a great little dog that put up with all of us strangers that showed up at the house, some being stranger than others. I'd have to say she welcomed us all as much as you and the rest of your family. She never even tried to bite Dave! Hopefully that put a smile on your face. I know it's pretty tough on ya'll. Hang in the my friend, we're all here for ya!
