Factory spot welds, and it looks all factory."B67FSTB" said:Is it not something home made from a regular C4 support?
How is the reinforcement plate attached? spotwelded like the factory or with a mig welder?
"buening" said:Definitely not an FMX from what I remember mine looking like. It's mounting tabs converged together on one side while on the other side had the H-shape. That one looks more like the C4/4spd crossmember except those had two slots and no reinforcement plate.
Just found an FMX to show you on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-mustang-FMX-transmission-crossmember_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3a55bd1b7eQQitemZ250546559870QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
