Hot Rod Power Tour2011 Last day Metro Beach

Today was the last day of the 2011 Hot Rod Power which ended just 8 miles from home so of course I was there. The weather could have been a bit better but I really don't think the Long Haulers cared much because of the heat they experienced earrlier in the Tour.
I located Craig (Tarafied1) and his wife Tara in the mass of people and cars and hung with them for the remainder of the going's on, later excorted them to their Hotel. It was really great meeting both of them and putting actual people with the picture's I've seen on StangFix.
I really didn't get many picture's of the cars :shrug but i did get these. :thu

Next year 2012 Metro Detroit to Arlington, Tx.

I really enjoyed meeting you Larry and so did my wife. I hope the Mach 1 proves itself so you will join us next year! thanks for the pix too

I saw the tour when it was passing through Montgomery, Al at the motorsports parkway, did you happen to be with them then? I was pulling a trailer with the "56 in my sig pic on it, at the time. The super chevy show goes through there also ( I know I know chevy stuff) and my youngest just had to drive the '56 over there and "show off". I think he wiped a cam lobe and I was bringing it back from Mobile to check it out. I hate pulling a cheby intake because the damn distributor is in the freaking back of the engine. :guns How the heck did I get talked into this anyway...lol
