Sorry I don't have photos for this, batteries are dead.
A while back I had put my hood on, but didn't have the springs, so the hood would be held up by a squeegy handle when I needed it up. Without the springs, the hood was lined up pretty well. Today I put the springs back on to hold the hood up. Now the hood is about 1/2" higher than the cowl. I've adjusted the hood hinges all the way down. I can push down on the hood and get it to go down a little. The hood I bought used, it is an aftermarket. When I had prepped the hood, sanding, etc. it required a lot of filler around the left and right sides, about 3/4" inward. What are your thoughts please? Time to get a hood?one with hood scoop

This photos is without the springs, so it sits flush with the cowl.
