Hey Craig you go both ways (Chev./Ford) Build one of these cool benches!

Cool. Now I know what I can do with my spare tail gate.

I saw a tail gate that was mounted to the wall and in the up position it was a tail gate on the wall and down a seat. The seat had a cushion on the wall and on the back of the gate. looked comfy. No legs just the chain and a hinge on the wall.

Tat I think would be cool in a man cave of shop.

Seriously, I can't imagine that be at all comfy due to the design of most tailgates. Now if it was reversed with the inside of the tailgate facing outward then it might be kind of nice to lean against but with concave exterior? Homey don't play that game.

The angle of the bumper looks wrong not to mention the chain latch--I'm with you Craig--the gate should be reversed.

Do they need to wear bark collars in the house? Or are those electronic boxes on the collar something else?

Those are very special collars which send out an audible signal saying "It was me" letting the home owner know which doggy just cut the nasty smelling cheese.

I have a wireless transmitter that has a adjustable radius before they get a audible then light shock if they leave the yard, the transmitter is in the middle of the house and covers most of our yard. I just leave it on, it looks heavier than it is,if I didn't leave it on by the time I got it on the pup he would have peed by the door, they have rubber stubbers so the prongs don't wear. there is no wire to bury and I can adjust the diameter of the coverage area and the intensity of the shock. The female is so used to it she doesn't want to go out without it on, she thinks something is wrong.
Kinda of expensive system but works pretty well. I think it was around 400 with 3 collars.

We have a fenced yard, but when we take the two doodles out we use a remote collar that has one button for a beep and one with a shock. We control the intensity. When I take Murphy's collar out, he gets excited. He knows that we are most likely going to the lake. We have used them on our dogs for a couple years, but Murphy has only been 6 months. Now when I whistle they come running even without the collars.

Sometimes I forget to charge the collars and put them on anyway. The dogs tend to stay close then. Without the collars, they go a bit farther, but still pretty close.

It is a great training aid. We also use them for the dogs when company is here. Push the button when they jump and that stops that. We don't have to yell and they know when they hear the beep that the current behavior is unwanted.

I have to say I haven't had to use the shock feature for probably 5 months.
