GoodGuys Top 5

Pretty impressive cars but all built by shops and all 100K+ I bet, do they give top 5 awards to self built also? I'd like to see some cars with smaller than 22" wheels on them...it's a shame they took a '67 GT 390 car and tore everything out and changed it to new stuff, they're getting more rare and they could have used any '67 fastback to do that to. Once they change that much stuff I don't see them as '67 classics anymore, just a show car for SEMA, etc. it's basically a body on a different suspension/motor/chassis/interior....
The second guy ('66 chevy?) was so monotone and boring I almost went to sleep!

Rich people spend on some of the most stupid things. I'm glad they spent the money on vintage muscle, making our cars more demanding. You are right about the 1st tearing up a '67 GT. I have a GT, but am not looking to preserve it or sell it.

it's all who you know. politics... most of these cars are chosen before they are even finished due to publicity of the builders & what they have in progress. every now & then you get a "little guy" in there, but usually the car has to be out on the show circuit a year or so before it gets the attention needed.
