Furniture finish fix

All, our cleaning person put a scrubbing bubbles shower cleaner on our Kawai piano last week.
The top of the spray can is yellow and looks a hell of a lot like Pledge.
This left a haze on the top of the piano (it's a baby grand that is a family heirloom that's been with SWMBO since she was about 10).
I tried a paste furniture polish with no joy. I ended up getting most of the haze out using Scott's Liquid Gold, but some small scratches and a slight haze still exists.

I'm looking for ways to fix this issue. Anyone have any idea on how to proceed? I don't want to re-finish this thing and suspect there's a polish or method to get this thing looking sharp again....

WTF! This is Stang Fix, not Furniture Finish Fix. What the heck are we suppose to know about buffing out a piano?

Seriously, hope someone with such knowledge can save the day for ya.

Stop what you are doing and do a search for your answer on the Web. The Liquid Gold product is only temporarily masking the damage. Don't take advice from anyone but an expert. Most likely the damage (and there is likely damage) is limited to the clear finish at this point. You don't want to do further damage trying stuff.

You could also call in a "furniture medic" who could surely fix it for you. Honestly, I would go this route in your situation.

Unemployed cleaning person blood and skin cells make an excellent polish.

I had white marks on a wood dining table as a result of a hot dish being placed directly on the wood finish. I found a product called "White Ring Remover" made by Homax Products that worked wonders bringing the surface finish back without stripping. Perhaps they have a product for your situation.

As an aside, we had a housekeeper that I called Lady Macbeth ( remember "Out damned spot...."). She scrubbed the oven knobs so hard that she removed all the paint markings on them. Yes they were clean but how the hell am I supposed to know where to set the temp?
