You guys are right, but friggin' depressing. :hide
The bottom line is that ya can't have a fixed up 60's car for under $30K if you don't do all the work yourself. (Done right that is, there is a lot of shit jobs out there that look all shiny and pretty)
For me, I'm paying for labour on the paint and body.
Clearly most of the posters here have the time and skills to do it all at home. I'm thinking maybe we should partner up and get some of those low buck cars up here and flip them.
But I digress, got a lot of good info on my suspension rebuild, it looks like this now ...
Front;
-monte carlo bar,
-1" sway bar
-shelby drop for caster
-1" lower
-roller perches and pitman.
-disc brake conversion (seems to be a lot of options here any suggestions?)
Rear;
-upgrade leaf springs
- Koni' gas adjustable shocks all around
-15" styled steel with low profile BFG
Thanks for all the info.
