Free music download?

What sites would you recommend for free music downloads or possibly low cost downloads? Looking for MP3 I guess....

YouTube, then paste the link into an online converter like this one: http://www.youtube-mp3.org/

That sounds like it just pulls the sound track from videos.

The end results will be a flashdrive or ipod of music to use in the cars.

I use torrents. Utorrent for conversion then a host of torrent sites.

Torrentroom IIRC is where I search. It then pulls up the torrents from host sites. Mostly from pirate bay as my computer friends seem to like it. Sometimes I have to google/yahoo "________ torrent".

Piratebay is what we have been using.

Yes, the converter works well. You can also pull down an app like Advanced MP3 Recorder and record the audio track while it plays on your PC. You can set mix rate, quality, mic levels, etc The converter is the easiset way and produces an iTunes quality MP3.
