No legos, it was lincoln logs!
Mark
I have to bite my tongue...hard!I always tried to build a garage with my Lego's when I was a kid. Id get so far and the roof would collapse. A week later I would try again. Wasn't too bright as a kid.
You left out the obvious to US citizens- Lincoln grew up in a log cabinBruno...not sure of the brand but Lincoln Logs were named after our 16th President back in the 1800s. The toy were pieces of wood stained brown to look like logs. They had notches at each end to facilitate stacking in a shape of a log cabin. Hence the reference to Lincoln. They also came with flat green pieces of wood for a roof. Of course we all built more than cabins with them and sometimes burned said cabins down in a sort of re-enactment.![]()
