I tip my hat to you. And anyone else who journeys long distances in their vintage rides. IMO, it takes guts to take these old cars on the open road so far from home.

It's funny - when I did Mustangs Across America, Power Tour, and various "iowa events" in the 65, it never really worried me. I'd been thru every nut & bolt in that car, and knew what was what...
With that said, I'm driving the 86 Saleen to Houston this summer for the Saleen Nationals, and I'm completely in knots freaking out about it.uk It's only 1400 miles into 100* weather in a car that's mostly untouched (even factory 27 y/o hoses). I mean, what can go wrong? :no Even been thinking about trying to rent/borrow/buy/steal a truck & trailer. But, what fun would that be? :yah
