Well , how do I begin.
It all started on last saterday afternoon when my friend called me to go to a mustangmeeting not far away.15min drive.
It was a beautiful wheather, nice sun and a fresh wind.So we went to the meeting.Met some friends , ate a hotdog and drank a coke.
When we got home , my friend said to me : tommorrow w're going back and take your mustang.I laughed and waved goodbye.
This morning at 10 o'clock he was at my doorstep , my friend.
Come on he said , we gonna prepare the stang so we will arrive at the meeting around 14.00h.
Together we torque the complete front suspension , steering assembly and did a quick lining of the front wheel.( with a fine rope)
Install the stone deflector , the supports for the front bumper and lower front valance.
fill up the tank , put on some license plate , check tire pressure , torq wheel nuts an so on.
At 13.30h I hit the road.
I had not installed my power steering pump , so it had alot of play when steering
Brake balance was not correct so I drove at a slow pace to the meeting.( not recommendable!!!)
My son took some pics and a video to PROOF !! but unfortenatly they are off a poor quality.

I have to fine tune the engine because it only revs at higher rpm.Timing ? Make another topic for that.

Nope , but before the resto the engine was back up with a C4.
Now there is a T5z behind it.
I think timing is a bit different with a manual trans.?
Will check later for vacuum leak , timing and idle , acceleration pump.ect.

Nice vids Bruno. Now straighten it out and drive it like ya stole it. By the way, looks like a very nice neighborhood you live in!

Very nice car!
I drove mine the first time without a bumper too, I kind of like the look. I wish there was a way to tie the valance in with the stone guard better.

Timing is timing, is timing. Doesn't matter what kind of transmission.

Congrats on being able to at least drive it!!

Congrats on the first drive. It reminds me I need to get out the video camera for my car. Your car looks beautiful! :pbj

Very cool!! Nice job Bruno. That second video made me nervous, first i thought the chase car was going to rearend you then right at the end it looks like a car pulled out in front of you. At least you drive on the right side of the road over there!

Congrats on your first drive. Cool video. I was waiting for you to pass some of those slow cars. Perhaps next time.

Thank you guys for the comments.
Later on , when the power steering works !! and the brake balance is set , i gonna take another vid but with a better camcorder.
