Good weekend with Shag. Besides polishing out scratches in the rear window (details in upcoming seperate thread), I assembled the fenders, attached the slash shields in preperation to attach the front clip this week or this coming weekend. Now I need to find all the fender, valance & stone guard bolts and J nuts.

Looking good.

And is that common practice to install a completely assembled fender with headlight, etc?

When I did mine - it was bare fender only.

I've only ever done 65/66's. On those, I've always bolted on the bare fender and added the headlight bucket and the rest after. With the headlight installed how do you route and connect the electrical harness? Is there clear access behind on later years?

I already have a 24" harness connected to the back of the lamps. Don't think I'll have a problem routing it to the main harness.

What, ya don't think we could figure out which one was the fish eye and had to point to it????

When we were kids, well, youger people, we would do that and say " see any concern in my eye pal ? " ... got a good laugh out of me. :lol
