fender to cowl nut

Is there a special sized bolt for this also? My vendor has the single nut and bolt listed.

Sorry, I do not have any extras. They take the regular fender bolt.

That nut is a bear to install, and most do not sit correctly, being reproduction. What I do is thread it onto a bolt, and carefully insert it into the cowl through the fender and then pull down on the bolt while tightening it.

I don't think you want to weld it in place for you want to be able to adjust the final location.

I swear I just saw an assortment of those in a drawer in my local hardware store, they carry a supply of "Automotive hardware"
