Engine compartment stamps and codes

In all the years I've been restoring Mustangs this is actually my first truely unmolested car.
It's a 65 vert built in San Jose in Feb 65 and delivered to Dallas, TX.
It's a nice rust free car that is all original. The motor is shot so while going through everything getting ready to pull it and general dissasembly I've come across a lot of the assembly markings.
Most I recognize like the options for the car written on the radiator support that you can make out under the original paint.
There's one on the passenger side towards the front by the fender which is stamped AOK. I've seen them stamped OK there before but never AOK.
The other is on the firewall up towards the cowl on the passenger side that is stamped PAINT9. It's stamped upside down. Any ideas?
I'm not doing a concours restoration on it, just curious.

The folks on the sister forum, www.concoursmustang.com, would love for you to share the details of what you find and can explain many of them to you. Unmolested 40+ year old cars are becoming rarer as time goes on, so capturing this information is of high priority.

Thanks Mid. I was over there searching through there forums as well but came up emtpy.
I'll give a shout out over there and see what they can come up with or what I can document before full restoration starts.

I'm guessing the AOK was the vernacular of the day for " Grade A, Okay".

everything is AOK!
