hey guys just been lurking for a while love this site, have some new front end pt to install roller perch, new lca, 1in sway bar, etc from ORP thx John. time to decide if to do the drop, 66 vert 2bl 289. just a street cruiser but can diff be noticed on street? if u drove car with it done would u be able to know? also not sure about adding holes tto this car. try to post pics not sure if i can on thead

I would say just go ahead and do it. I did it to my brand new body without even thinking about it after I read some on it. If you are worried about the extra hole you can always weld them shut.

It doesn't even have to be welded shut. You could support the back side and smoosh into the hole puddy JB weld and smooth it out. Done. Like steel ans easily sand able.

you probably would never notice it during normal driving. What it does it keep the inside tire tread flat on the ground when the car is leaning in a hard turn. As others said though, there is no disadvantage and the first time you have to swerve to miss that little kid running out in front of you you'll be glad you did it.
