Drive Shaft ?s

Before I finish detailing my drive shaft, would y'all have it balanced? I do not remember any issues.

BTW, it is for my wife's driver.

Did you remove any (if existed) of the weights on the DS?

If there wasn't a problem prior to cleaning it, and you didn't remove any of the balance weights, then I don't see any reason to get it rebalanced.

No, the original weights are still there. I guess I better get this thing painted up and the U Joints installed.

Someone on the concours forum suggested I could make rollers out of caters to roll the drive shaft while I reapplied the stripes. Here is what I came up with.

personally, I would not think twice but to have it rebalanced.

I used gun bluing to recreate the heat marks from welding and redid the stripes this morning.
