Here are bunch of pictures showing the issue I have on the passenger side.
The window matches up and appears to make a good seal on the top and rear edges except for right where it meets the vent frame. It is already adjusted up high enough that when the window is rolled up you can see the channel the glass sits in and whatever adhesive is used to attach it. I've loosened the front window stop (also pictured below) and lifted it up about 1/4" or so, so that the window fits good against the vent frame at the top, and when I close the door like that I get a decent seal. However, once I roll the window down and back up again, its like I never adjusted it. It appears that the window needs to be lifted in the front, and knowing its never that easy, I think maybe it needs adjust down a hair in the back which would be counter intuitive.
Suggestions for the passenger side?
On the driver side, I have a good seal along the top and a good fit against the vent frame, but there is a noticable gap at the back (verticle) seam as if the entire window glass needs shifted rearward. I'm not sure how that adjustment would be made. The other correction would be to try to get a better fitting drip rail seal, but I bought the supposed best one NPD sells (US made) just to avoid this issue.
Suggestions for the driver side?
Lastly, and no pic for this, but when I roll down the passenger side, its almost as if the gap is too narrow for the glass, because as I get to the bottom, maybe the last 1" or so, the stainless trim on the glass grabs the outer beltline rubber and pulls it down, to where you can see the clips that snap into the door. Rolling it back up seems to not be an issue, but while it is rolled down and you see the clips, it is unsightly, and I'm sure will weaken the clips with routine use.
